Imphal, December 22 2024: T Brojendro, W Padmeshwar, Becker and Premjit N made it to the men's singles semifinals of the 43rd State Open Cash Prize Tennis Championship 2024, following their quarterfinal triumphs on Sunday.

Brojendro advanced smoothly with a commanding 6-1, 6-1 win over Pahten Keisam, while Becker dispatched Lanchenba with a 6-2, 6-1 performance to book his place in the last four.

Premjit earned his semifinal berth with a convincing 6-0, 6-2 triumph over Nonginsana, and Padmeshwar progressed via a walkover.

In the men's semifinals, Brojendro will be up against Padmeshwar, while Becket will take on Premjit.

In the U-12 competition, Valeska and Shelza Asem set up girls' summit clash.

Valeska beat Gucci 8-4 and Shelza eased past Gracy 8-2 in their respective semifinal matches.

On the other hand, Yoimayai Irungbam downed Dhanaraj 8-2, while Arnav overcame Rancher 8-7 (6) to advance to the boys' final.
