Priyojit Kangabam enjoyed a five-for to help TRAU thrash Blue Hawk, Khurai by 83 runs in the first semi-final match of the 6th MNCA W Prahlada and W Ramananda Memorial Elite Tournament today at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, Luwangsangbam.
TRAU won the toss and opted to bat first, but collapsed at 1&3 all out in 28.5 overs despite Pukhram Prafullomani's half century knock as Blue Hawk bowlers ripped through the line up with efficient bowling performance.

In TRAU's innings, Pukhrambam Prafullomani hit 9 fours on the way to his 86-ball 76 and Priyojit added 22 runs as Blue Hawk's Mutum Pritam (4/36 in 8 overs) and Wakambam Samson (3/25 in 8 overs) were too good with their length and pace.
Jitendra Bishan Thakur, Sunil Salam and Gautam Soubam also picked a wicket each to restrict TRAU to 163 runs.
In the chase, Blue Hawk started wobbly and struggled at 20 for 3 in 7.3 overs as Borish Khomdram undone the top three batters cheaply.
Priyojit then removed then removed Amom Guniram (9) for the fourth wicket in the 13 th over to make it 35 for 4 before sweeping the bottom four batters to come out with the best bowling figures of 5 for 11 in 5.3 overs and folded up Blue Hawk's innings at 80 in 26.3 overs.
