Manipur outclass Gujarat in sub-jr basketball Nat'ls

Imphal, December 19 2024: Manipur delivered a commanding performance to secure a 75-51 victory over Gujarat at the 49th Sub-Junior National Basketball Championship for Boys and Girls, held in Hyderabad on Thursday.

The state team established early dominance with a 23-11 lead in the opening quarter, which they extended to an imposing 30-7 margin in the second.

Despite their decisive start, Manipur faced challenges in the third quarter, allowing Gujarat to outscore them 17-9 .

However, they maintained composure in the final quarter, holding Gujarat to a 13-13 tie to seal the win.
