KKC, NBC, KMC, KPC advance to MU inter-college football semis

Imphal, October 29 2024: Kakching Khunou College, N Birahari College, Kha Manipur College and KP College all made it to the semifinals of the A Pratap Singh Memorial Manipur University Inter College Football (M) Tournament 2024 .

E Birendrakumar's brace propelled Kakching Khunou College to a 2-0 victory over Mangolnganbi College for their place in the semifinals.

Birendrakumar netted the opener in the 22nd minute and followed up with a second goal just before the halftime whistle.

N Birahari College secured their spot in the semifinals with a penalty shootout victory over Biramangol College.

After finishing 1-1 in regulation time, the match went to penalties, where O Ranjan, L Bishochandra, and E Suranjoy successfully converted their shots, resulting in a 3-1 win for their team.

Kha Manipur College also advanced to the semifinals, defeating CI College 2-0, with Samir scoring first in the 55th minute and Romen adding a second goal in the 67th minute.

Meanwhile, KP College advanced to the semifinal on a walkover after Regional College walked out of their quarterfinal midway.

KP College was leading 1-0, thanks to a goal from Ayush (36+1), before the match was abandoned.
