US, Aus, Eng, Thai to participate in 9th Manipur Polo Intl tourney

Imphal, November 04 2015: Teams from the United States of America (USA), Australia, England and Thailand will participate in the 9th Manipur Polo International tournament to be held from November 22 till 29 .

From India, there will be the IPA team, India (A) and Manipur, India (B) .

This was stated by N Tombi Raj, Chairman Publicity Committee of 9th Manipur Polo International tournament.

The 9th Manipur Polo International 2015 will be played at the historic Mapal Kangjeibung as a part of the Manipur Sangai Tourism Festival.

A committee comprising L Satramani, S Nabachandra and G Rajendro had submitted names of sixteen probable players to the Chairman of the selection committee of MHRPA.

The committee will select the final six players after a process that is in progress.
