Kakching, November 30 2021: The 1st Ps Ningam, Chamshel & Richard Memorial Cup Football Tournament 2021 kicked off at Chakpi karong playground, Chandel district, on Tuesday.

The tournament is jointly organised Nungpan Youth Club and families of Ningam, Chamshel and Richard.

The opening ceremony was attended by DSA Chandel vice president & special contractor HL Lovingson Anal as chief guest, Chandel Khullen chief Ps Yumas as functionalpres ident, AMFA vice president & special contractor DB Kowar as guest of honour.

In the opening match, Khubung Khunou Novokom FC comfortably beat Nungpan YC 4-0 .

The winning team scored through RD Thungni (29th), PY Earivstar (37th) and SNG Phungtha (49th, 56th) .

On Wednesday, Hunters FC will take on Chakpikarong YC at 11 am, Ws Lumshel Memorial Team will play Khubung Khullen at 12:30 pm, and Lambung YCC Will face Khubun Khunou Novokom YC at 2 pm.

19 teams are competing in the tournament.
