W Priyobarta, Joydev clinch senior and junior men's titles

Imphal, July 30 2022: Wangkheirakpam Priyobarta of Liangtuang Kamei Foundation, Neikalong and Joydev Thongam of Super Gym, Khurai won the senior and junior men's titles in the 20th Mr Imphal East District Body Building Contest 2022 organised by Imphal East District Body Builders Association at Ima Lai Khulembi Sanglen, Khurai Sajor Leikai today.

Boris Pechimayum of 3 Brothers Gym, Kongpal finished second in the senior competition as Yumnam Indrakumar Singh of Earter Iron Gym, Naharup bagged the third place.

Finishing second in the junior category was Thokchom Yaisana of Royal Gym, Ningomthong as Daya Laishram of Yaimbi Fitnes Centre, Nongren finished third.

Chongtham Bluncely Meitei of 3 Brothers gym, Kongpal and Khwairakpam Saimon Singh of Manipur Fitness Club, Nongmeibung emerged fourth and fifth in the same competition.

Meanwhile Warshim Chesam of RCC gym, YAS, Khuman Lampak and his compatriot, Irungbam Pabitro earned the first and second spot in the men's fitness physique competition as Kheljit Thangjam of T-Fit Manipur Gym, Khurai Kongpal finished third.

Xtreme Fitness' Gaurau Prasad Sahu and Zoya Fitness' Abinash Pradhan were fourth and fifth in the competition.

In the meantime, the Master bodybuilding title went to L Modhu of X-Fitness, Wangkhei as Y Ranjoy of Super Gym, Khurai and Ngariyambam Biramangol Singh of KFC, Kiyamgei emerged second and third.

In all, 27 athletes from 16 gyms/fitness centres of Imphal East district took part in the junior, senior, master's bodybuilding and men's physique contests.
