IW Village Men's Open Football : Victory for Leihao FC, BFC, Kangmong FC, IWSC, Ngairangbam FC

Leihao FC Ngairangbam, BFC Awangkhunou, Kangmong FC, IWSC Khumbong (A) and Ngairangbam FC prevailed in their respective league matches today in the ongoing Imphal West District 7-A Side Village Men's Open Football Tournament-2019 organised by Imphal West Students' Club at its ground at Khumbong.
Bikram Singh of Leihao FC displayed an exemplary performances in the first group A match of the day as he scored a treble and helped his team beat LLYC Tera by 6-1.Ngairangbam side took control of the match since the very beginning of the match as Bikram netted the opener in the 1st minute and his second 3 minutes later to give Leihao FC an early 2-0 lead.
Continuing their dominance, LFC's Ngoba contributed two more goals in the 12th and 14th minutes to make it 4-0 at the end of first half.
Rubbing salt into the wound of LLYC, Morish of LLYC scored an own goal to make it 5-0 in favour of LFC, before Bikram struck his 3rd and 6th goal for his team in the 36th minute.
The only goal for the losing side was scored by Ch Boy Singh in the 37th minute.
BFC sealed a narrow 2-1 win over Ratan Jewellery FC, Patsoi in the first group B league match of the day.
The two goals for the winning team was scored by Herojit (32') and S Umakanta (35') while the sole goal for Patsoi side was netted by Suranjoy in the 41st minute.
In another group A league match of the day, Kangmong FC thrashed IWSC Khumbong (B) by 6-0 as Ramjane and Brajamani contributed two goals each while Johnson and Sanathoi scored one each.
Following a lost for their sister team earlier, IWSC (A), Khumbong secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Yurembam FC in group C league match, thanks to goals from O Dhanajoi and Taibanganba in the 24th and 39th minute respectively.
Meanwhile, in another group B match, Ngairangbam FC secured a slim 1-0 win over Lanchenbi FC Tabungkhok.
The deciding goal for Ngairangbam side was scored by Aken Singh in the 3rd minute.
