Aditya Meitei, Monika emerge carom champions

Imphal, November 20 2021: S Aditya Meitei of Paona Bazar, Imphal West and M Monika of Khongjom, Thoubal district respectively clinched the men's and women's titles of the First 1st state level RK Anilkumar Memorial Cash Prize Men & Women carom tournament 2021.The tournament was organised by United Club & Library (UCAL) at UripokKhwairak Selungba Leirak community hall under the aegis of Imphal West District Carom Association since November 17 .

Apart from Aditya Meitei, other position winners in the men's category are H Arunkumar of Mayanglmphal (second) and Laishram Rakesh of Mayanglmphal (third) .

In the women's open category, N Ranjita of Singjamei and Arina Mutum of Uripok secured second and third position respectively.

All the winners were pre -sented cash prize,citation and trophy with seven others receiving consolation prizes.

Closing function of the tournament held on Saturday was attended by deputy CM Y Joykumar, UCAL president Angom Mukundo Singh and Imphal West District Carom Association president Tayenjam Dhiren Singh as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

The tournament was organised under the sponsorship of (late) RK Anilkumar's younger brother RK Seileshkumar.
