AMFA lifts ban on football trials, talent hunts

Imphal, February 18 2025: AMFA has announced the lifting of the ban on conducting football trials and talent hunts in Manipur.

Academies and clubs interested in organising such events must submit a formal application at least 20 days in advance to the official AMFA email address: manipurfa@.

Applications must be submitted directly by the organisers, as submissions via agents will not be accepted.

Furthermore, organisers are strictly prohibited from engaging any coach or agent independently for the trials.

The AMFA Technical Committee will be responsible for appointing coaches for these events.

Any violation of these regulations will result in the immediate cancellation of the trial or talent hunt without prior notice, according to a memorandum issued by AMFA on Tuesday.
