Wins for SEYO, HU, MEIRAA-A in Bpr 6-a-side hockey tournament

Imphal, December 17 2024: SEYO, HU, and MEIRAA-A emerged triumphant on the third day of the State-Level Men's & Women's Open 6-a-side Hockey Tournament 2024 held in Bishnupur.

SEYO delivered a commanding 5-0 victory over BH, with Birjit leading the charge through a hat-trick, while Wangamba and Malemngamba added one goal each.

HU dominated UYAC 7-3, thanks to hat-tricks from A Suresh Sharma and W Niraj Kumar, complemented by a goal from S Nishi.

For UYAC, L Dipu netted twice, and G Dingku contributed a goal.

MEIRAA-A secured a narrow 2-1 win over TWC, while the match between YCCIC and MEIRAA-B ended in a 1-1 draw.

In the women's category, MEIRAA-B overwhelmed Thoubal with a decisive 5-0 victory, while MLHA secured a 3-1 win against TWC.

MEIRAA-A and UESPM, however, played to a goalless stalemate in their closely contested fixture.
