K&MMRS win 8th Junior Boys' U-16 State Polo Tournament

Imphal, February 16 2025: K&MMRS delivered a commanding performance to secure a 5-2 victory over Arvind Polo Club in the final of the 8th Junior Boys' U-16 State Polo Tournament 2025 on Sunday, clinching the title in emphatic fashion.

The opening chukker saw K&MMRS storm into a 2-1 lead, with W.Kedarnath striking twice for the side.

Arvind Polo Club responded through Th.Rohit, who converted a goal to keep the contest alive.

K&MMRS extended their advantage in the second chukker, with Abijit Thiyam slotting home their third goal.

Arvind Polo Club's K Bonyson pulled one back, but the side trailed 3-2 at the interval.

A tightly contested third chukker yielded no goals, as both teams' defences held firm.

However, K&MMRS reignited their dominance in the final chukker, with M.Gokulsana adding a fourth goal before Kedarnath completed his hat-trick in style.

The late surge sealed a memorable triumph for K&MMRS, who lifted the trophy amidst jubilant celebrations.
