Double delight for Ng Mani College at Inter College Thang-Ta Championship

Ng Mani College clinched both the men's and women's team titles in the Rajkumar Sanahal Memorial Inter College Thang-Ta Competition 2024-25, held at the college premises in Khurai Chairenthong, Imphal East, on Sunday.
Organised by Ng Mani College under the aegis of Manipur University, the one-day event witnessed the participation of 26 Thang-Ta athletes representing nine colleges from across the state.
The men's team of Ng Mani College produced an impressive performance to secure four gold, two silver and two bronze medals for their championship crown.
Manipur University finished runners-up in the men's competition.
In the women's competition, Ng Mani College claimed the championship title by winning two gold medals, while Waikhom Mani Girls' College and Sarswati College were declared joint runners-up.
The tournament commenced with an opening ceremony attended by distinguished guests, including Dr Ch Pradeep Singh, assistant director Sports Manipur University, Rajkumar Dilip Singh, donor Rajkumar Sanahal Memorial Inter College Thang-Ta Competition 2024-25, Ng Chaoba Singh, chairman GB Ng Mani College, SN Arunkumar Singh, vice-chairman GB Mani College, S Somorendro Singh, secretary GB Ng Mani College, Dr W Jibankumar Singh, principal Ng Mani College, Laishram Decov Meitei, IQAC coordinator Ng Mani College, and Huidrom Premkumar Singh, president World Thang-Ta Federation.
