Kangpokpi, September 14 2022: Sagolband United had a comfortable 4-0 win over Football Club Gorkha XI Manipur with Lunminthang's brace in the 20th and 49th minutes and Shunjanthan and Adison's goals in the 29th and 79th minutes in the last second pre quarterfinal league matches on Wednesday.

The win secured a quarterfinal berth for the Sagolband side.

The last pre-quarterfinal league match between Satkhohen and Sumkhomang Memorial Team (SSMT) and TYPOM Maohing ended in a 2-2 draw.

Lenboilun (15'), and Lenminlal (71) scored for SSMT while Kaikam (33), and Kamminlun (79') scored for TYPOM Maohing.

The draw earned SSMT a quarterfinal berth while eliminating the Maohing side.

The remaining time of the YOSC Khurai and Taphou FC match was played on the day and the match ended in a 3-3 draw earning YOSC Khurai a quarterfinal berth and Taphou FC packing their bags.

In the quarterfinals on Thursday, KLASA Keinou will play Twilang Area Sporting Association (TASA) in the first match and KSC will clash with SSMT in the second match.
