AMIMYDO, NYVA, YPC & YGC book semis spots in state volleyball tournament

Imphal, October 12 2024: AMIMYDO, NYVA, YPC, and YGC all emerged as winners, securing their places in the sub-junior boys' semifinals at the State Volleyball Tournament 2024 held at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex on Saturday.

AMIMYDO advanced to the semifinals after a commanding 25-18 25-23 25-12 victory over SCYC in their quarterfinal encounter.

NYVA fought back from a set down to defeat DVA 21-25, 25-23, 25-17, 27-25, securing their spot in the last four.

In another quarterfinal match, YPC also stage a comeback from a set down to outscore UKVC 23-25, 25-10, 25-17, 25-18.YGC completed the semifinal lineup with a 25-21, 25-16, 25-22 triumph over TRYVC in their quarterfinal match.

The semifinal matchups will feature AMIMYDO against NYVA and YPC against YGC.

In the senior men's event on Day 3, HVA, SCYC, IGO, MPSC, AMIMYDO, TRYVC, NYVA, and YPC all emerged victorious in their respective matches.

Meanwhile, in the women's event, MPSC secured two wins, defeating KDVA 25-9, 25-13 and CDVA 25-13, 25-22.SDVA, SCYC, and TRYVC also registered wins in the women's competition on the same day.
