Imphal, February 11 2024: Assam Rifles organised a 'friendly cricket match' with Katomei cricket team at Maram Garrison, Senapati district on Sunday.

The match was held with a view to enhance bonhomie between Assam Rifles and the local populace and provide a platform for promoting sports for the youth in the entire area.

To mark the culmination of the event, the commandant of Maram Garrison presented the prizes to the performers.

Post-match, members of both the teams interacted with the commandant during lunch organised for the players by the battalion, informed a statement issued by PRO IGAR (East) .
