MOA names 35 cyclists for national competition

Imphal, November 05 2024: Manipur Olympic Association has selected a team of 35 cyclists to represent the state at the 29th Senior, Junior, and Sub-Junior National Road Cycling Championship, scheduled to be held from December 4 to 7, 2024, in Puri, Odisha.

The athletes will compete across multiple categories in the national event, and the selected cyclists are as follows:
Elite men: Athokpam Bike, Laishram SanjOy, Hijam Harish, Luchinglen Chungkham, Angom Yaiphaba.

Elite women: Naorem Biseshori Chanu, Yurembam Gitu, Yumnam Thaja, Sarangthem Bidyarani.

Men (U-23): Elangbam Lanchenba (NCOE Guwahati), Konthoujam Bishan, Yumlembam Vishal, Anish Naoroibam.

Junior boys (U-18): Tayenjam Bipil (NCOE Patiala), Daya Keisham, Thounaojam Gyananta, Konthoujam Lanchenba, Chingangbam Binodchandra.

Junior girls (U-18): Konthoujam Benika, Huirongbam Thajamanbi.

Sub-junior boys (U-16): Jeis Thokchom (NCOE Guwahati), Laishram Prem, Yumnam Sushil, Ngangkham Dayananda Meitei.

Sub-junior girls (U-16): Laishram Sana, Achom Tanibala.

Youth boys (U-14): Wahengbam Thoihenba Meitei, Yanglem Jinku Meitei, Poirenganba Chanambam, Leishangthem Rebishan, Chungkham Hemba (standby) .

Youth girls (U-14): Usham Sandhya, Thoudem Khristina, Thoudam Abenao, Saikhom Florence.
