Draw for Thoubal, Kakching, Bishnupur shine over Tamenglong

Imphal, March 05 2014 : A match played between Thoubal and Kakching ended in a 2-2 goals draw in the first match of the 17th Sub-Junior Under 15 Boys' Inter District Football Tournament 2014 played at the Artificial Turf of Khuman Lampak here today.

The tournament is being organized by All Manipur Football Association.

The first goal of the match was scored by Sumanta of Thoubal in the 24th minute.

Team mate K.Kisan added one more goal in the 56th minute.

But Md.Taslin Khan of Kakching alone equalized all the 2 goals in the 40th and 54th minute of the match.

In another match today, Bishnupur and Tamenglong clashed for winner's title.

However, the match was won by Bishnupur by 3-1 goals.

It was Maheshchandra of the winning team, who scored the first goal of the match in the 15th minute.

After that, team mates RK.

Srinivas and N Yaiphaba went on to fetch one goal each in the 23rd and 59th minute.

Lansingam Reamei of Kakching fetched the lone goal for his team in the 73rd minute of the full time match.
