Monsang Sports: Changning, M/Pantha & Pantha in finals

Imphal, January 27 2024: Changning, M/Pantha and Pantha entered football finals of the 16th Monsang Sports Meet 2024, following their semifinal victories at Liwa Sarei Ground, Chandel on Saturday.

Changning cruised past Changnhe 3-0 into the final in the open event.

Ng Konthang (8, 15) scored a brace and Ng Bishorjit (35) got their third goal in their semifinal triumph.

M/Pantha beat Japhou by a 3-1 margin in their semifinal match.

Desemsom (15), Henry (70) and Rolish (80+4) each scored a goal to propel their side to the final.

Japhou's lone goal was scored by Leal (62).The women's semifinal saw Pantha edge past WSPK1-0 as Sh Alisha scored in the 33rd minute to guide her team to the final.

On Monday, Sarei will take on Pantha in the U-14 football final match while Japhou and Sarei will fight it out for the pre-veteran title.

In volleyball, Japhou and.

Roshangkung will face each other in the women's final as Japhou play Pantha in the men's final on Monday.

The men's open football final will see Pantha clash with Liwachangning on Wednesday.
