SAI-STC Utlou to induct players of three disciplines

Imphal, July 25 2022: Sports Authority of India, Sports Training Centre (SAI-STC), Utlou is set to induct talented boxing, taekwondo and weightlifting players between the ageof 12and 18 .

As per a press release issued Centre In-Charge, Kh Lokendro, the training centre is set to induct 6 boys and 10 girls boxers into the academy; 3 boys and 5 girls taekwondo players and 2 boys and 6 girls weightlifters.

The seats for boys are residential while the girls' seats are non-residential.

Interested sports persons may collect prescribed forms from the office of the undersigned from July 25 during office hours from the centre and the last date of form submission is July 29, the release said.

Battery and other selection tests for eligible candidates will be conducted on July 30 at the Utlou centre from 6.30 am onwards, it said.

Further the Centre In-Charge also informed that the athletes applying for the induction into the Centre should produce age proof certificate, Aadhar Card, School Leaving Certificate, four latest passport size photographs and achievement certificates (if any) .
