YPHU, USA victorious in Manipur State League

Imphal, March 23 2025: YPHU pulled offa 2-0 victory over UPAA, while USA struggled past YOSC in Sunday's action of the 17th Manipur State League 2024.Thongam Priyaball was the star of the match, scoring both goals in YPHU's dominant performance against UPAA.

Priyaball opened the scoring in the very first minute, giving his side an early advantage.

He then doubled YPHU's lead in the 53rd minute with a well-taken second goal.

A solid defensive display ensured YPHU maintained their clean sheet and walked away with all three points.

In the other match, USA faced a tough challenge against YOSC but managed to clinch a hard-fought 1-0 win.

After a tightly contested first half with few clear chances, Mahesh Singh Yumnam broke the deadlock in the 55th minute.

Despite YOSC's efforts to equalise, USA held firm defensively to secure the narrow victory and claim the points.
