NYVA, LPC prevail in State jr boys volleyball tourney

Imphal, July 21 2024: NYVA and LPC emerged victorious on the opening day of the 1st State Level Junior Boys' Volleyball Tournament 2024, organised by Bazar Board Committee, Wangjing Khuman, on Sunday.

NYVA got the better of KACO by a 3-1 margin.

NYVA lost the first 23-25 but they bounced back strongly to capture the next three sets 25-17 25-18 25-22, kicking off their campaign on a positive note.

LPC, on the other hand, swept past SEDO 3-0 .

They dominated their opponents 25-20 25-16 25-15.Meanwhile, rained forced BBC and KYLSC to call off their third-set contest.

BBC dropped the opening set 23-25 against KYLCS, but the former rallied back by winning the second set 25-12 and leading the third set 21 - 9 before rain forced the match to be called off.
