YAS minister distributes uniforms to state team for Santosh Trophy qualifiers

Imphal, November 20 2021: Youth Affairs and Sports (YAS) minister Letpao Haokip on Saturday distributed uniforms to the players who will represent Manipur in the Santosh Trophy.

Two sets of uniform sponsored by VECTOR were handed over to each players by the minister and other top officials of YAS at the Artificial Turf Ground at Lamlong Thongkhong.

Principal secretary (YAS) SS Chhabra, director (YAS) T Phulen, AMFA secretary, L Jyotirmoy Roy and others were also present during the distribution function.

Later, a friendly match was played between the Santosh Trophy team and the Kuki Sporting Club (KSC) .

The state Santosh Trophy team will first participate at the NE zone.

Qualifiers for the 75th Hero National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy will be held at Khuman Lampak, Imphal on November 28, 2021.
