MMA: Jenus Laishram to fight Greece's Kaselouris in Thailand

Imphal, August 20 2022: Emerging Indian MMA fighter, Jenus Laishram, 21, will face Sotiris Kaselouris of Greece at the Thailand Fighting Championship 2022 .

The fight will take place on Friday, August 26, at Thailand's Bangla Boxing Stadium, Ban Khao Lak, Phangnga.

This is the first for an MMA fighter from Manipur to compete at the Thailand Fighting Championship.

Jenus Laishram, who hails from Mayang Imphal, will represent the Team Bonjovi and Fitness Academy, Manipur.

Jenus' 26-year-old oppo nent Sotiris Kaselouris has a wealth of MMA skills.

On the other hand, Jenus Laishram is a promising young MMA fighter.

He has a strong sense of confidence in his ability to win the fight despite having to overcome considerable financial challenges to reach Thailand.

If he wins this bout, Jenus will become the first person from Manipur to win at the Thailand Fighting Championship.

He is now undergoing training in Delhi ahead of his maiden fight in Thailand.
