MNCA Superplate: Al-Ameen, UCC cruise

Al-Ameen and UCC enjoyed comfortable victories in Thursday's fixtures of the 4th MNCA Superplate Tournament 2024-25.Al-Ameen outclassed KASC by 7 wickets at Model Hr Secondary & Oriental College Ground.
KASC, opting to bat first, were bowled out for 124 in 31.2 overs, with WM Rajak Muhammad (33) and Ali Karim (30) being the top contributors.
For Al-Ameen, FM Sakil Ahamed was the standout bowler, claiming four wickets, while Mohammed Shamir Khan chipped in with three wickets.
Md Karim and Najrul Islam also contributed with one wicket each.
Al-Ameen successfully chased down the target in 22.3 overs, losing three wickets in the process.
Khulakpam Shamir Khan led the chase with an unbeaten 52, supported by Md Raeesh Khan (20), Md Safwan Khan (18), and Md Shamir Khan (7 not out) .
Bipinkumar Langpoklakpam produced an all-round performance to help UCC triumph over PCC by 4 wickets at Moijing Public Ground, Thoubal.
UCC won the toss and opted to field, restricting PCC to 193/9 .
Bipinkumar Langpoklakpam shone with the ball, taking 4 wickets, while Laishram Bhuson claimed three wickets.
Laishram Roshan and Konsam Gulson also contributed with one wicket each.
Longjam Gibson was the top scorer for PCC with 64 runs, supported by Charoibam Tyson's 34 .
In response, UCC completed the chase in 32.2 overs, finishing with four wickets to spare.
Langpoklakpam followed up his excellent bowling performance with a solid 65 runs, while Thangjam Anson Singh (35), Tamarjit (32), Haobam Ajitkumar (24 not out), and Sagolshem Nelson (21 not out) provided valuable contributions to seal the win.
