Raengdai's 19-0 win nullified, Pathap FC move to semifinals

Imphal, February 12 2025: The disciplinary committee of the 15th Shaheed Manoranjan Singh Memorial Football Tournament 2024-25 has ruled the quarterfinal match between Pathap FC and FC Raengdai null and void, awarding a 3-0 victory to Pathap FC.

The decision follows a review of a complaint lodged by Pathap FC, which led to the discovery that FC Raengdai had fielded an ineligible player - one who was not a bona fide member of the team - during the quarterfinal match held on February 10, 2025 .

FC Raengdai had recorded an emphatic 19-0 victory over Pathap FC in the match.

However, upon confirmation of the violation, the disciplinary committee enforced a forfeiture, overturning the result in favour of Pathap FC.

As a result, Pathap FC advance to the semifinals, where they will face either RAU or SFC on February 17, 2025, at 2 pm.

RAU and SFC are set to face each other in the quarterfinal on February 14, 2025, at 2 pm, at SAI Turf Ground, Takyel.
