KSDO, TRAU, PTCC, AMCA win big in MNCA U-14 Boys' Tournament

Imphal, February 11 2024:
KSDO, TRAU, PTCC and AMCA made light work of their respective opponents in Sunday's fixtures of the 3rd MNCA U-14 Boys Tournament.
KSDO handed a crushing 218-run defeat to KCC at THAU Ground, Thangmeiband.
Kh Firdos scored 91 to help KSDO set a competitive total of 281/7, with significant contributions from Mohammed Gunbas (30), Md Washim (25), Mohammed Zuneid Shah (24) and Mohammed Abu Sufiyan (20) .
Chasing a challenging total, KCC wilted under pressure and ended up managing just 63 after being bundled out in 18.5 overs.
Only Niyas Khan (18) reached double figures in their run chase.
Mohammed Abu Sufiyan was the chief destroyer for KSDO, taking 6 wickets.
Mujahir did his bit with 2 and Mohammed Soheb bagged one as KSDO enjoyed a massive win.
Earlier, Md Anish Khan and Niyas Khan took 2 wickets each, while Md Rijwal, Ksh Lanchenba and Khomdram Omash got one each.
TRAU outclassed LOTUS by 178 runs at PTRC Ground, Patsoi Part-IV, Imphal.
Electing to bat, TRAU made 215/5.In the innings, Potsangbam Jeet Singh top-scored with 57 (not out), followed by Tyrus Chabungbam (31), Preethson Arubam (21), Mutum Swabhiman (17) and Arubam Rainson Singh (7 not out) .
For LOTUS, Elangbam Yo-henba Singh picked 3 wickets and Alex Thounaojam Singh took 2.TRAU then needed just 11.2 overs to dismiss LOTUS for a meagre 33.Preethson Arubam shone with the ball for TRAU by collecting 6 wickets, while Mutum Swabhiman impressed with 4.PTCC thumped LCC by 9 wickets in their encounter at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, Imphal.
PTCC bundled out LCC for 60 in 27.2 overs, with Devas Tongbram taking 4 wickets.
Lanngamba Ningombam snapped 3, and Somobanta, Hirachandra Laitonjam and Harishor Mayngbam contributed one each.
PTCC then achieved the target in 8 overs courtesy of Ningombam Roberson Singh (20 out out), Somobanta (16 not out) and Daniel Mangang (5), who fell to Omega Meitei Senjam.
AMCA, meanwhile, outshone YESSDAN by 166 runs at Kongba Khunou Dhobi Lampak, Imphal East.
Riding on Mustakin's unbeaten 123, AMCA posted a total of 242/5.Yakil (32) and Mohammed Masut Alam (13) also made valuable contributions in the innings.
In the process, the team lost 3 wickets to Ningthoujam Rajesh Singh and 2 to Oinam Jeenivash Singh.
In reply, YESSDAN could only manage 76 after they were bowled out in 18.1 overs.
Hanif and Mehbuk took 2 wickets each, while Anish, Mustakin and Yakil collected one each in their win.
