MNCA Boys U-14: Wins for TRAU, KSDO, PCC, YESSDAN

TRAU, KSDO, PCC and YESSDAN were easy winners in Monday's fixtures of the 4th MNCA Boys U-14 Tournament 2024-25.TRAU enjoyed an emphatic 245-run triumph over CHAMP at Lairenjam Public Ground.
Opting to bat first, TRAU posted an imposing total of 290/6, powered by standout contributtons from Tyrus Chabungbam (89), Potsangbam Jeet (60*), and Keisham Yaikhomba (31) .
In response, CHAMP faltered, managing only 45 runs before being bowled out in 20.3 overs.
The bowling attack was led by Ringku Moirangthem and Khundrakpam Silheiba, who claimed three wickets each, while Keisham Yaikhomba took two.
Tyrus Chabungbam and Brian Thoidingjam chipped in with a wicket apiece, ensuring TRAU's overwhelming victory.
Meanwhile, KSDO secured a convincing nine-wicket triumph over THAU at PTRC Ground, Patsoi.
KSDO's disciplined bowling effort dismissed THAU for a paltry 44 in just 18.2 overs, with Khutheibam Abu Sufiyan leading the attack with five wickets.
Mohammed Soheb took two wickets, while Kh Firdos and Mohammed Gunbas contributed one each.
KSDO made light work of the chase, reaching the target in 5.1 overs, with Abu Sufiyan (19*) and Kh Firdos (10*) steering the side to victory, losing just one wicket in the process.
Over at Khudeiband Lampak, Taothong (Lamshang), PCC outclassed SDO with a commanding 172-run win.
Batting first, PCC amassed 229/5, courtesy of an impressive 82 from Lamnganba Nongmaithem, 67 from Rojer Laishram, and 25 from Simon Konthoujam.
In response, SDO collapsed for just 57 in 11 overs, as Moirangthem Hirachandra spearheaded the attack with four wickets.
Simon Konthoujam claimed three, Rojer Laishram took two, and Pebam Yaikhomba added one to seal PCC's emphatic victory.
At SEDOC Ground, YESSDAN defeated MPA with a three-wicket win.
YESSDAN's bowlers restricted MPA to 95 in 27.5 overs, with Ningthoujam Rajesh and Laishram Giri each taking three wickets, while Heisnam Nganba claimed one.
Despite some struggles in the chase, YESSDAN reached the target in 28.2 overs, driven by key contributions from Mais-nam Anderson (22*), Oinam Batista (20), and Laishram Giri (18*) .
MPA's Ch Yohenba provided resistance, claiming four wickets, but YESSDAN ultimately secured the win.
