Imphal, August 04 2015: Manipur team will take part in the 55th National Open Athletic Championship to be held at the SAI, Centre Kolkata from September 16 till to September 19.Informing this, Athletic Association of Manipur (AAM) Secretary Ito Tongbram said those athletes wishing to get more information on the championship can come to AAM office between 3 to 5 pm.

He however said that the athletes should register their names with the AAM latest by August 10, 2015 .

Athletic trial for the selection of Manipur team to take part in the 27th East Zone Athletic Championship at Deoghar, Jharkhand on September 29 & 30, 2015 and the 31st National Junior Athletic Championship to be held at Lucknow, UP from November 3 to 7, 2015 will be held at Khuman Lampak main Stadium on August 8, 2015 .

Athletes are informed to report at 7 am along with age proof certificate, said Ito Tongbram.
