Hosts KLYGC emerge champions of 2nd Village Open Volleyball tournament

Imphal, July 31 2022: Hosts, Kangmong Langoljam Youth Guidance Club (KLYGC) were crowned champions ofthe 2nd KLYGC Village Open Volleyball Tournament.

KLYGC-A beat HVA, Heigrujam by 3-1 sets today to win the title of the 12-team tournament.

KLYGC started brilliantly but conceded the second set before making a huge comeback and sealed the game 25-22, 17-25, 25-16, 25-22 to earn tournament winners' prize of Rs 40,000 and a trophy.

Runners up, HVA were also feted with cash prize of Rs 20,000 besides best discipline team - NYVA, Naorem.

Best setter - Jayson of KYLGC-B; best blocker - L Michael of HVA and best spiker - Ch Roshnikumar of KLYGC-A were also feted at the occasion.
