Pathap FC to face KRC in final of Tbl 2nd Div League

Imphal, January 31 2022: Pathap FC got the better of Yairipok FC on Monday to face KRC in the final of the Thoubal 2nd Division Football League.

Pathap FC pulled off a 2 0 win over Yairipok FC to top the Group B table and secure their place in the final.

Pathap ended their league round campaign with 12 points from four games while the Yairipok squad accumulated 9 nine points from four matches.

Arish Khan turned hero as his double sent Pathap FC to the final.

He found the opener in the 16th minute and extended the lead in the 32nd minute.

Pathap FC and Group B winners KRC will vie for the title on Wednesday, February 2 .

In the day's inconsequential match, YDA eked out a 1-0 victory over REFA to finish ahead of their opponents in third in Group A.Md Yunush netted the lone goal in the 40th minute.
