Imphal, July 27 2022: Informing all district units that the 2nd State Games is slated to be held from August 26 to 30, the Athletic Association of Manipur has laid down the details of the athletic championship to be held as a part of the Games, eligibility and others details In its letter reached out to all affiliated district units, the association said that athletic competition will be organized in men and women sections only while adding that an athlete can enter in 3 (three) individual events and 3 (three) Relays.

It also intimated that each district unit can send a maximum of 3 (three) entries in each event.

Further, submission of self-attested copy of Aadhaar Card along with 2 (two) passport size photographs is mandatory, the association said.

It also informed that managers, coaches should ensure that their athletes report for the victory ceremony immediately after the announcement of the result.

Medals may not be awarded to the athlete who does not report for the victory ceremony, it warned.

The association also noted that the champions and runners-up of the State Games Athletics Championship will be declared on the basis of maximum number of gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.

According to the letter, the meeting of technical officials will be held at 1 pm on August 26 at Main Stadium Khuman Lampak before the managers' meeting of all units at 3.30 pm at the same place and advised all units to attend the said meeting in time.

The association also informed that the last date of submission for entries at AAM office is July 30 .
