Polo: MPSC-B cruise in Governor's Cup opener

Imphal, February 26 2023: Manipur Police Sports Club-B (MPSC-B) notched up a convincing 6-2 victory against Tentha Polo Club in the 30th Governor's Cup Invitation Polo Tournament 2023 which got underway at Mapal Kangjeibung (Imphal Pologround) on Sunday.

In a tight first chukker, the teams tied 1-1 as T Pradeepkumar put MPSC-B ahead before P Bikash evened the score for Tentha PC.

The police riders, however, galloped to a 3-1 lead in the second chukker after Pradeepkumar scored his second goal and H Abung Khuman added one.

MPSC-B extended their lead in the third chukker with Th Romen on target.

Then they wrapped up the victory with a double in the fourth chukker through Pradeepkumar (his third goal) and 0 Suresh.

Tentha got their second goal in vain through I Rahul.
