MPSC-B clinch IW Polo tournament title

Imphal, December 18 2021: MPSC-B got their hands on the championship trophy of the 1st Imphal West District Polo Tournament after hammering MPSC-A 11-4 in the final match on Saturday.

T Pradip Kumar dazzled with his mallet by claiming seven goals to help his side close out their campaign in style.

The first chukker saw T Pradip and O Suresh make their efforts count to give MPSC-B a 2-0 lead.

In the second chukker, MPSC-B pumped in four goals through Pradip, who scored a double, H Abung Khuman and Suresh as MPSC-A managed to score two goals through S Bimol and M Vivekananda.

Goals, however, eluded MPSC-B in the third chukker.

MPSC-A found their third goal after a strike from Bimol, his second goal.

After the lull, MPSC-B roared into action in the fourth chukker where Pradip came up with an impressive haul of four goals to complete his seven-goal collection and Abung Khuman claimed his second goal to see their team enjoy a memorable day.
