Inter college kabaddi: Pole Star College, Mayai Lambi College capture titles

Imphal, October 13 2024: Pole Star College and Mayai Lambi College emerged as champions in the Manipur University Inter College Kabaddi Tournament (M&W) Tournament 2024-25 organised by Pole Star College, Hiyanglam-Wabagai.

Pole Star College outplayed SK Women's College 45-36 in the final of the women's competition held on Sunday.

Pole Star's L Morambi Devi received the best player accolade.

Earlier in the semifinals, Pole Star College strolled to a resounding 48-13 win over W Mani College, while SK Women's College thumped Lilong Haoreibi College 40-14.Mayai Lambi College, on the other hand, sealed the men's event title after beating Lilong Haoreibi College by a 38-29 margin in their summit clash on the same day.

Mayai Lambi College s M Manson walked home with the best player trophy.

Earlier, Mayai Lambi College defeated Manipur University with relative ease in their semifinal contest, cruising to a 54-19 victory.

Lilong Haoreibi College, meanwhile, outplayed Pole Star College 36-29 in the men's second semifinal match.
