AMFA announces revised fixtures for State League, Women's League

Imphal, August 13 2022: All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) on Saturday released the revised fixture for the 15th Manipur State League 2022>23 .

Accordingly, the opening match will now be played on August 20.Young Physiques Union (YPHU) will be up against Yarkhok United FC (YUFC) in the opening match at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.

19 teams are in the fray for the State League honours.

Young Physique s Union (YPHU) and Yarkhok United FC (YUFC) are placed in Group A along with Sagolband United (SU), Rising Athletic Union (RAU), Muvanlai Athletics (MA), North Eastern Sporting Union (NESU), Keinou Library & Sports Association (KLASA), Manipur Police Sports Club (MPSC), United Khawzim Brothers (UKB) and The Athletics Football Club (AFC).

Group B has North Imphal Sporting Association (NISA), Southern Sporting Union (SSU), Ganggam Soccer Club (GSC), Tiddim Road Athletic Union (TRAU), Nambul Mapal Athletic & Cultural Organisation (NACO), Kshetri Iril Mapal Youth Club(KIYC), Dimapur Road Athletic Organisation (DMRAO), NEROCA FC and Anouba Imagi Mangal (AIM).

AMFA also announced the revised fixture for the 13th Senior Women's Football League 2022-23.The opening fixture on August 18 will see ICSA (Irengbam) take on YWC(Th).

Seven teams are competing in the Women's League, which is a pre-qualifying event for the Indian Women's League.

YWC (Th), ICSA, KRYHPSA, UPSA, MPSC, ESU and Youth Welfare Club (L) are the teams in the fray for the title.
