Imphal, June 13 2022: TRAU (Kwakeithel) prevailed over CRAU by 16 runs (DLS method) in the 6th MNCA W Prahlada & W Ramananda Elite Tournament at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium on Monday.

TRAU batted first and scored 71/4 in reduced 18 overs.

In the innings, Priyojit Kangabam top-scored for his side with 28 off 24 balls, followed by Rahul Rajkumar (10), Pukhrambam Prafullomani (9), Bishworjit Nongmaithem (6 not out), Behul Moibungkhongbam (6 not out) and Dr Siddarth Shah (1) .

In reply, CRAU were all out for 79 in 18 overs but the DLS method went in favour of TRAU.

In CRAU's chase, Khangenbam Bitnol (20), Takhellambam Kala (17), Johny Kh (10), Ayekpam Uttam (6), and Phjodash (5) were the main run-getters.

For TRAU, Puinachandra Sharma Anoubam and Priyojit Kangabam picked up two wickets each while Dr Siddarth Shah and Bijenkumar Nongmaithem took one each.

Earlier, Lamabam Ajay claimed two scalps as Mehtab Jamai and Khumanthem Prakash bagged one each for CRAU.

TRAU's Priyojit Kangabam, who took two wickets and scored 28 runs, was adjudged the man of the match.

Model will take on FORCE on Tuesday.
