MU inter college yogasana tournament concludes

Imphal, November 12 2024: Kha Manipur College, Naorem Birahari College, Manipur University and NIELIT (Imphal) all emerged winners in the Arambam Ibomcha @ Moibungkhongba Memorial Manipur University Inter College Yogasana (M) Tournament and Arambam Ongbi Rupabati Devi Memorial Manipur University Inter College Yogasana (W) Tournament 2024-25, hosted by National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Imphal, on Monday (November 11, 2024) .

In the men's competition, Yengkhom Roshan (Kha Manipur College) won the individual traditional event, while Moirangthem Malemnganba (Kha Manipur College) came off second best.

In the rhythmic event, Shivananda Thiyam (Naorem Birahari College) was the top finisher.

Meanwhile, Manipur University emerged winners in the group event as Naorem Birahari College were runners-up.

In the women's competition, Sh Babyrose Devi (Standard College) secured first position in the traditional event, while Angom Susmilia (Imphal College) finished second.

In the rhythmic event, Jenifer Thongam (TS Paul Manipur Women's College) claimed the top honour, while Thounaojam Sanathoi (Naorem Birahari College) came in second.

On the oth er hand, NIELIT (Imphal) won the group event, with Naorem Birahari College finishing runners-up.

The tournament featured participation from Thoubal College, Kha Manipur College (Kakching), Liberal College (Luwangshangbam), Naorem Birahari College (Khundrakpam), and Manipur University in the men's category.

The women's category included Imphal College, Kha Manipur College, TS Paul Manipur Women's College (Mongsangei), Standard College (Kongba), Naorem Birahari College (Khundrakpam), NIELIT Imphal, and Manipur University.
