Senapati edge YOSC at 2nd CYLC State Basketball Championship

Imphal, November 11 2024: Senapati carved out a narrow 40-37 victory over YOSC in Monday's action of the women's competition at the 2nd CYLC State Open Basketball Championship 2024 .

The match began with Senapati gaining a narrow lead in the first quarter, finishing 11-8 .

In the second quarter, YOSC's defense tightened, holding Senapati to a 5-5 tie and preventing any expansion of the lead.

The third quarter saw a momentum shift as YOSC edged ahead with a 14-11 score, capitalising on Senapati's struggle to find offensive rhythm.

Entering the fourth quarter down by three points, Senapati showed resilience and composure, staging a comeback with a solid 13-10 finish.

This final-quarter push allowed Senapati to reclaim the lead and secure the victory in a closely contested game.
