Tashar-A crowned volleyball tournament champions

Imphal, December 10 2021: Tashar-A emerged champions of the Tangkhul Open Men's Volleyball Tournament 2021.They beat Ram-rei by a 3-2 margin in the final match on Friday at Khathing Memorial Ground, Tashar.

Earlier in the semifinals, Tashar defeated Hungphung in straight sets (25-19, 25-21, 26-24), while Ramrei fought back from a set down to outperform Muirei 18-25, 25-11, 25-21, 25-23 .

Winners Tashar-A were given a prize money of Rs 50,000 and runners-up Ram-rei received Rs 20,000.The players who walked away with accolades were Ramrei's Yarsem (best setter), Hungphung's Atao (best blocker) and Tashar's LH Tha,eisho (best player) .
