15th Nungnang Circle Youth Organisation Tournament concludes

The closing ceremony of the five-day-long 15th Nungnang Circle Youth Organisation (NCYO) Tournament cum Cultural Meet organised by NCYO was held on Friday at Luangraeng village, Khoupum Sub-Division, Noney district.
The closing ceremony was attended by Gaidon Kamei, special invitee - state executive BJP Manipur Pradesh, Gaimuaipou Phaomei; secretary Village Authority, Luangreang Village and Jackson Phaomei, president NCYO, as chief guest, guest of honour and functional president respectively.
Speaking at the event, chief guest Gaidon Kamei assured the people of Nungnang circle that separate administrative unit or Sub-Divisional Office Hq would be established soon at Luangraeng village, for which the chief minister had already directed the DC of Noney for a spot feasibility report to be sent for cabinet decision.
He also announced that Sports Authority of India would soon construct a Sports Stadium at Noney district Hq, while exhorted the sports persons to have a strong determination to become a national and international players.
The women volleyball team of Lungbanglong won the final match after defeating Lungraeng (A) team.
In the men's football final match, Lubanglong (A) Youth Club beat Lubanglong (B) Youth Club.
In the men's volleyball final match, Namkaolong Part-II (A) team defeated Lungraeang (D) team.
Altogether, 19 football teams and 9 volleyball teams of Nungnang Circle of Noney district took part in the
sports event.
