NESU FC, PUBG ease to wins in 2nd Dabang Trophy

Imphal, January 03 2025: NESU FC had a commanding 5-2 victory over Charangpat FC, while PUBG United Angtha defeated CHMYDA 2-0 in the 2nd Dabang Trophy on Friday.

Md Afridi was instrumental in NESU's triumph, netting a hat-trick to ensure a dominant performance.

Bikaram opened the scoring in the 17th minute, followed by Md Aman's goal in the 20th, setting up a 2-0 lead.

Afridi added another in the 24th minute, making it 3-0.Charangpat showed resilience with Sultan and Salman scoring in the 32nd and 36th minutes, respectively, reducing the deficit.

However, Afridi struck twice in the 44th and 48th minutes, completing his treble and sealing the win.

In the second match, PUBG United's Bobosana delivered a stirring performance, scoring both goals in the 15th and 20th minutes to guide his team past CHMYDA .
