Imphal, March 17 2018: The players of Tiddim Road Athletic Union (TRAU), Kwakeithel today left Imphal for their maiden Second Division League clash against Jamshedpur FC on March 20 at Jamshedpur.

The TRAU football team led by Laishram Ibomcha Singh as manager and Leimapokpam Nandakumar as head coach were flagged off today by Sapam Nishikanta, proprietor, The Sangai Express, along with the office bearers of TRAU.

They also wished luck to the team on the occasion.

Speaking prior to the flagging off event, secretary of TRAU, T Phullen said that TRAU is the second team next to NEROCA to feature in the Second Division League organised under the supervision of All India Football Federation.

He thanked the people of Manipur for helping TRAU to reach such position and further urged all to continue their support and love for the team.

The other officials who accompanied the team are Karam Romeo Singh (team Doctor), Th Subhaschandra (Assistant team manager), Khumanthem Surmani Singh (Assistant coach) and Yambem Heelane Singh (Physiotherapist) .

The players which will feature in their first outing are:
Goalkeepers: Md Tajuddin, Ch Kumar Singh, L Premkumar Singh
Defenders: Moirangt-hem Meino Singh, Soraisam Sandeep Singh, Soraisam Dinesh, Huidrom Naocha, T Nelson Kom, Ng Prem Singh
Midfielders: Konsam Phalguni Singh (Captain), Chongtham Kishan Singh, Wahengbam Angousana, Ningthoujam Momocha Singh, Laishram Milan Singh, Moirangthem Deepak Singh
Forwards: Reishangmei Vashum, Olariche Princewell Emeka and Peter Seiminthang Haokip.
