SAIRC dominate Day Three of State Archery Championship

Imphal, October 13 2024: SAIRC shone on the second day of the State Level Senior, Junior & Sub-Junior Archery Championship 2024 at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.

The team clinched gold medals in multiple categories, including women's recurve individual, women's recurve team, and men's recurve team events on Sunday.

Y Anupama claimed the gold in the women's recurve individual event.

In the women's recurve team competition, SAIRC's Th Shwasita Devi, Y Anupama Devi, L Rabina Devi, and Villennia Thokchom combined to earn six points for their gold medal.

SAIRC's other gold medal came courtesy of L Yuhenba Meetei, Md Amir Arshad Khan, E Orbit Singh and L Nelson Singh, who shot a score of five to win the men's recurve team event.

The championship, featuring 21 archery teams, will continue until October 22, 2024 .
