L Dinesh wins Mr Khamba 2022 title

Imphal, August 13 2022: L Dinesh won the Mr Khamba title in the 9th Mr Khamba Inter District State Level Body Building Championship 2022 organised by All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA) at INA Hall, Moirang, on Saturday.

L Dinesh, who represented Bishnupur district, came out on top in the senior bodybuilding competition to become the Mr Khamba 2022.Wangkheirakpam Priyobarta of Imphal East finished second and Laishram Neta Singh of Imphal West completed the top three.

Kakching district's Ksh Niraj Sing clinched the junior title as Imphal West's Thounaojam Marco claimed the second place and Bishnupur's Karam Birjit Singh settled for the third spot.

In the men's fitness physique contest, Warshim Chesam of Imphal East walked away with the top honours.

Mangal Arambam of Imphal West bagged the second place and Wahengbam Thanil Meitei took the third position.

The women's model physique saw Solimla Jajo of Ukhrul seal the crown as Zenika Naorem of Imphal West came off second best and Rajkumari Neha Devi of Imphal East finished third.

On the other hand, E Kavita Chanu of Imphal West emerged as the winner of the women's bodybuilding contest.

She beat Karishma Chingangbam of Imphal East.

In the physically challenged category, Ahongsangbam Nanao of Bishnupur secured the first position, Naorem Jayenta of Thoubal was second and M Joychandra Singh of Imphal East was third.
