THAU outclass PTCC by 129 runs in Senior Women's One Day Trophy

Imphal, June 12 2024: THAU thrashed PTCC by 129 runs in Wednesday's action of the 3rd MNCA Senior Womens One Day Trophy 2023-24 at THAU Ground, Thangmeiband.

Electing to bat, THAU made 210/7 as Kalpana Devi Keisham dazzled with 113, with Niruta Thoudam and Seterny Devi Brahmacharimayum adding 30 and 22, respectively.

THAU then bowled well to dismiss PTCC for 81 in 24.4 overs for their thumping win.

Niruta Thoudam was the star bowler in their attack, taking six wickets, while Kiranbala Chanu Haorungbam, Bunty Devi Khoibam and Sophiya Chanu Naoroi-bam each bagged one.

For PTCC, Niruka (18), Laishram Teresa (17) and Laishram Bigyapati Devi (13) scored in double digits in their futile run chase.

Earlier, Laishram Bigyapati Devi took three wickets while Bandana had two for PTCC.
