LCYCC thump KDC 5-2 in Chandel Super Divn League

Imphal, September 11 2019: Liwa Changning Youth Cultural Club (LCYCC) defeated Kapaam Development Club (KDC) 5-2 at MUGHSS ground to extend their winning run at the ADC Chandel Trophy Super Division League being organised by DSA Chandel.

The match scheduled earlier between United Lamkang Football Club (ULFC) and New Wangparel Youth Club (NWYC) was postponed owing to heavy downpour.

In the high scoring match of the day, KDC had the honour to open up the scoring in the 15th minute through Angthot only to be equalised by SK Damme of LCYCC two minutes latter.

DB Rengon scored the second for LCYCC in the 23rd minute to help his team overturn the lead and enter into the break 2-1 .

KDC made their way back into the game after the restart with Marconi scoring the equaliser in the 47th minute but LCYCC proved to be the stronger side as SN Bungpem helped the team regain the lead in the 54th minute while SK Bunghong and K Ngamsha grabbed a goal respectively in the 61st and the 65th minute to make it 5-2 at the end.

Hnaringkhu Youth Club will meet Tampi FC in the next league match on September 13 at Kapaam Football Ground at 12.30 pm before ULFC take on LCYCC latter at 3 pm .
