Senapati, September 09 2024: Katumsiim FC wrested the title of the 1st Division District Football League 2024 which concluded here on Monday.

In all, six teams from across the district namely Katumsiim FC, Ratung FC, Willong FC Purul FC, Makuilongdi FC and Tamuilong FC participated in the league that commenced from September 3 .

After five matches against each other, Katumsiim FC emerged as the champions with a haul of 13 points as Ratung FC secured the runners-up title.

In individual category, the Golden Boot was awarded to Lowly of Ratung FC who scored eight goals, Golden Ball to Seiminhao and Golden Glove to Kangba, both of Katumsiim FC .
