Y Jackshon shines at Sub-Junior National Archery Championship

Imphal, January 09 2025:
Manipur delivered an impressive performance on Thursday, securing two gold medals and one bronze at the 41st Sub-Junior National Archery Championship in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Y Jackshon Singh achieved a notable double victory, winning two gold medals in the Indian Round competition.
He earned the first gold with a total of 354 points in the boys' 20m individual event and secured the second by defeating Rohan Kishore from Tamil Nadu 7-3 in the final.
Additionally, S Lingjelthoibi earned a bronze medal in the girls' 20m event, amassing 345 points.
The state's team is being supported by coaches K Devnanda Singh and N Arjun Singh, along with manager P Yaiphathoi Meitei.
The championship is scheduled to conclude on Friday, January 10, 2025 .
