NACO, SSU win matches after beating rivals

Imphal, October 07 2015: NACO Nambul Mapal beat YPHU Lalambung by a solitary goal to register a victory on Wednesday in the 10th Manipur State Football League.

The lone goal for NCAO came from W Bikash in th 32nd minute of the match.

YPHU could not open its account despite some attempts.

Meanwhile, in the second match of the day, SSU Singjamei thrashed TRAU Kwakeithel 2-0.For SSU, the first goal was netted by L Gogocha after he received a pass from Th Roshan in the 36th minute of the match.

When the first half ended, SSU was ahead with one goal.

In the second half, TRAU's S Ratan scored a goal for his team in the 58th minute and equalized the margin.

When the match was expected to end in a 1-1 draw, SSU was award a penalty kick.

The penalty was converted easily by H Dayananda of SSU in the 85th minute.
